ACCA SEPTEMBER EXAM FEEDBACK – DAY THREE & FOUR

So, how were the five papers sat on day three and four of the exams? Here’s what sitters though about it all:

PM

Some sitters like section A this time around. “For me section A was easier than I was expecting,” said one sitter. Another described it as ‘grand’. Even section B was deemed OK. The only downside was financial performance question in section C.

In the Open Tuition Instant Poll one in three (32.6%) found the September paper ‘hard’, another 11% had a ‘disaster’, leaving 51% saying it was ‘OK’.

APM

This exam got the thumbs up in the Open Tuition Poll with 58% saying it was ‘OK’. Another 24% found it ‘hard’, and just 8% had a ‘disaster’.

ATX

As one student pointed out, the exam had a lot of knowledge-based questions which would have been easy if you had studied hard. They didn’t say if they had!

In the Open Tuition Instant Poll 45% said the exam was ‘OK’. Another 40% said the exam was ‘hard’ and 9% had a ‘disaster’.

FR

For one PQ there was just too much focus on EPS, consolidation and financial instruments. Another PQ complained that they didn’t have the consolidation question, so it was super hard for them. Instead, they had trial balance with lease and convertible loan in section C.

In the Open Tuition Instant Poll the votes were evenly split. Some 34.5% said the exam was ‘OK’, another 31% said it was ‘Hard’, and 26% had a ‘disaster’.

SBR

One student is terrified that they honestly thought the paper was not too bad. A fellow sitter agreed “it was an easy one.”

In the Open Tuition Instant Poll some 43% of sitters said the exam was ‘OK’. Another 42% felt it was ‘hard’ and 13.6% had a ‘disaster’.
