Forvis Mazars has welcomed 268 trainees to its UK firm as part of its 2026 early careers intake, reinforcing its commitment to developing the next generation of talent across audit, tax, advisory and support services.
The intake includes a record number of school leavers, with 93 joining the firm this year compared with 79 in 2025.
Forvis Mazars said trainees will receive communication and relationship-building skills, technical training, professional qualifications and opportunities to develop in-demand skills in data, technology and AI, helping them build successful careers for the future and helping clients prepare for what’s next.
Margaret Laidlaw, Head of People and Culture, said: “We’re delighted to welcome our newest trainees to Forvis Mazars and support them as they begin their professional careers. As client needs and the profession continue to evolve, the skills required for success are evolving too. Alongside technical expertise, strong relationships, collaboration and judgement remain critical. Our programmes are designed to help trainees develop the full range of skills they need to build successful careers, including areas such as data and AI.”
