New trainees join BHP

BHP, part of the Sumer Group, has welcomed 44 new accountancy trainees into the firm.

With offices in Sheffield, Leeds, York, Chesterfield and Cleckheaton, BHP has recruited graduates, non‑graduates, and placement students into roles spanning accountancy, tax, advisory and audit, and Corporate Finance.

Hamish Morrison, Co‑Managing Partner at BHP, added: “As part of Sumer, we are able to offer our team access to wider opportunities, expertise and collaboration, while maintaining the supportive culture and strong local relationships that have always been at the heart of BHP. Many of our senior leaders began their careers as trainees, and we look forward to seeing this year’s cohort develop, progress and make a lasting contribution to our business and our clients.”
