Employers need to make a good first-impression if they want to get the best accountancy talent.
Nearly half (46%) of finance professionals have told Hays Accountancy and Finance that a poor application process has put them off a prospective employer.
Some applications are just too long and clunky. Accountants expect two interview rounds (73%) and a two-three day max to find out if they have the job.
