Don’t get spooked, but there is exactly a month to get your nominations in for the PQ magazine Accountancy Education Power List 2027 – deadline for applications is Monday 30 November!
We want to celebrate the leaders, innovators and community builders, and all those working behind the scenes who make PQs lives better!
Being recognised will hopefully raise the profile of many people often overlooked.
We already have some great nominations in, but we want to ensure no accountancy stone is left unturned – is there a dedicated distance learning staff member that needs recognition, or a training manager who always champions their students? There might even be a fellow student who is always on call to help you. Any of these could make the list, and what a wonderful way of saying thank you!
PQ magazine editor, Graham Hambly, explains: “We want to showcase the great work being done in the profession, the people that really touch and impact the lives of PQs. We are on a mission to show that accountancy educators count, and it’s time some unsung heroes got the recognition they deserve.”
So, please get nominating. All we need is up to 500 words on why this person should be on our inaugural list. But remember the deadline for nominations is Monday 30 November 2026. Then our panel of independent judges will decide the 50 people who will make our inaugural list.

We will formally announce the full list at a special event in London, in January 2027.
