With Accountex Summit Manchester taking place in less than two weeks, on 23 September, anticipation from the accounting and finance community is building.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet 120+ software and service providers, including big names but also first-time exhibitors like My VIP Tax Team, NatWest, Vista Insurance Brokers, Sign Up Software, Citation Cyber and Taxpad.
The 30+ session CPD accredited education programme is made up of sessions covering everything from anti money-laundering and AI accounting to tax issues for SMEs and compliance.
With HMRC’s Making Tax Digital for Income Tax Self-Assessment deadline set for 6 April 2026, there are seminars on every aspect of it, from an MTD playbook to HMRC’s digital future.
Alongside the software and service providers, CPD accredited seminar programme and networking opportunities, are some brand-new features to keep visitors up to date with changes in the industry and improve their experience at the show.
Sustainability Zone, sponsored by Sage Earth
With ‘sustainability’ no longer a buzzword, attendees can visit the Sustainability Zone to get expert tips to kickstart their sustainability journey, dive into B Corp best practices, and test their Net Zero knowledge.
Cyber Resilience Hub in partnership with the North West Cyber Resilience Centre Visitors can learn more about the world of cybersecurity while meeting the North West Cyber Resilience Centre team. They will be offering expert advice to ensure visitors are aware of the common risks to their business.
Clear audio with the Olyusei App
Visitors will be able to connect directly to each theatre’s audio for an enhanced listening experience. After downloading the Olyusei App, they can pick up the event code and PIN when they arrive and easily switch between theatres. The original audio from the sessions will still be loud enough to hear without headphones but the app will make sure attendees don’t miss a thing.
MTD Hub with HMRC
Attendees can drop by the MTD Hub with HMRC to learn how to get their clients ready for the Making Tax Digital for Income Tax deadline next year. MTD representatives will signpost guidance to support these changes, provide details on when the changes will start for which customer groups and explain what agents can do to prepare.
Post-show drinks sponsored by Sage
Amidst the education programme and exhibitors, there will also be a post-show drinks party for visitors and exhibitors to network and relax after a busy day.
