AICPA and CIMA will host the fourth edition of their acclaimed ENGAGE UK & Ireland conference at the Hilton Tower Bridge, in London on 14 and 15 October 2025.
Sponsored by Sage and Corpay, the two-day hybrid conference will feature keynotes, presentations, and practical sessions spanning every career stage through three curated tracks, including:
- The State of the Profession – Mark Koziel (pictured), CPA, CGMA, CEO at the Association of International Professional Accountants, the global alliance formed by AICPA and CIMA, will open the conference with a presentation on the global state of the accounting and finance profession, and the opportunities reshaping its future.
- Valuing intangible assets: The ‘science and art’ – Kevin Uphill, Chairman and Founder of Avondale Corporate Ltd, author, and public speaker, will explore how businesses can better assess the worth of their intangible assets to strengthen valuations and strategic decisions.
- Managing imposter syndrome –Sophie Turner, Founder and Director of YesSheCan will share practical strategies to recognise, manage, and overcome imposter syndrome, helping accounting and finance professionals build confidence and self-belief.
- Mastering your mindset – Sawaran Singh, Professor of Psychiatry and Director of Centre for Mental Health and Wellbeing Research at the University of Warwick, will discuss the psychology of performance and resilience.
- Fireside chat with Baroness Karren Brady – A candid conversation with Baroness Karren Brady, CBE, Vice Chairman of West Ham United, a Peer in the House of Lords, and Lord Sugar’s adviser on The Apprentice, on business, entrepreneurship, and women in leadership.
On 14 October 2025, AICPA and CIMA will also host their annual ENGAGE UK & Ireland Awards Presentation Ceremony and Dinner. This event recognises the accomplishments of CGMA candidates, CIMA members, and partners, celebrating excellence, innovation, and leadership in accounting and finance.
