Have you used the ACCA transition tool?

ACCA students are being encouraged to start thinking about how they will ensure a smooth transition to the new ACCA qualification.

The redesigned Foundation and Knowledge levels are being introduced in July 2027, followed by the Expertise and Strategic Professional in September 2027. PQs will receive credit for any exams completed in the current structure, and ACCA has promised they will not be disadvantaged in the redesign.

Students can check out the transitional tool at: ACCA Qualification transition tool.

For those studying the Applied Knowledge, the FA Financial Accounting and MA Management Accounting have exam equivalents. However, BT Business and Technology does not. If you do not complete BT Business and Technology before transition, you will be required to complete the Responsible Business Management Essential Employability Module in the redesigned qualification.

This module will be chargeable.

If you complete the Applied Knowledge level requirements ahead of transition, ACCA is encouraging you to study for the Corporate and Business Law (LW) exam as your first Applied Skills exam. All students who don’t to complete the LW exam prior to transition will be required to enter the K3 Business Law before or at the same time as entering for Expertise exams.
