Huge disruption at ACCA exam centres

There was huge disruption again at ACCA test centres on the first day of the March exams. PQ magazine has picked up problems at Birmingham, Dublin, Leeds, Portslade and Plymouth. We also believe there were ā€˜technical issuesā€™ in Malaysia too.

Concern over a ā€˜Monday Morning Problemā€™ highlighted in the February issue of the magazine seem to have come true again, only on a wider scale!

In Dublin the March exam at one centre was cancelled altogether, as were exams in Leeds.

Students are rightly calling it ā€œan absolute disgraceā€. One sitter explain that they did not sit their 9am exam until 1pm. They started the exam ā€œstarving and stressedā€. They then ran out of time ā€“ well it was AAA!

We also know of another student who has to return to work , so never discovered if they would have be able to sit the exam.

Some students also didnā€™t finish the exam until after 8pm. And, one said: ā€œI was hungry, tired and fed up ā€“ I just got home and burst into tearsā€.
