The pass rates are out for the 7,844 ICAEW students who sat the June 2026 Professional level exams.
Some 12,448 exams were attempted this session, with 6,326 candidates passing every paper they sat.
And, a total of 1,682 students finished the Professional Level.
In all 4,313 students sat two papers in June, and 84.5% of these passed both, and a further 11% passing just one. That left 203 students failing both (4.7%).
This compares to a pass rate of 75.9% for the students who sat just one paper. Which left some 810 PQs (24.1%) failing the paper they were sitting.
Turning to the individual papers, and ignoring papers where there were very few sitters, two had pass rates above 90% – Fundamental Case Study (93.4%), and Assurance, Risk & Reporting (92.8%).
Three other papers had pass rates above 80% – Corporate Financial Strategy (84.4%), Business & Digital Strategy (84.1%), and Corporate Reporting, Data and Assurance (82.5%).
In stark contrast, there were also two papers with pass rates just over 50% – Financial Accounting & Reporting (IFRS) (53.65), and Financial Management (55.5%).
