KPMG is set to cut around 200 jobs from its UK advisory business, including staff working on AI.
This is the latest round of redundancies after a series of job losses at the Big 4 firm in April.
The cuts in the data and technology division amounts to around 4% of KPMG’s advisory workforce.
Staff were told that KPMG needed the “right-size” capacity in the affected business. Another reason for the cuts is because of the low levels of attrition in that division. With staff expected to leave by the end of October.
This latest news means that KPMG UK has shed around 1,000 jobs so far this year.
