New one-year top-up degree launched for accountants

A new affordable University of Greenwich BSc in Applied Finance and Accounting has been launched this month for qualified and affiliate accountants.

In effect your professional qualification is the entry requirement, and allows you to convert your hard work into a full UK honours degree!

Delivered by GEMS, the degree takes one year to complete, with all assessments via coursework, so there are no exams either. You would be expected to produce applied financial analysis case study evaluations, business reports, Python-based data tasks, and an independent research dissertation. Written academic feedback is provided for every submission.

And the cost of your BSc (Hons) – just £2,000.

The study modules do not re-teach what the professional qualification has already tested. The aim is for the new modules to build new capabilities, and they cover machine learning in Fintech, quantitative finance research investment management, and corporate governance, ethics and sustainable practices.

The programme is aimed at accountancy professional who do not hold a bachelor’s degree. To find out more go to: www.financetopup.com
