No AAT training provider awards this year

Following a challenging 12 months, full of assessment restrictions, socially distanced setups, and the fact that different regions were faced with different rules at different times, AAT felt that it was right to not run the Training Provider Awards this year.

AAT said it will assess the situation next year, where it hopes the awards will be able to make a return.

One disappointed tutor told PQ magazine that the awards were perhaps more important this year than at any time before! “We have all worked so much harder to keep things going it is a shame AAT isn’t going to showcase some of the great work tutors have done to keep students’ careers on track, and the students themselves who showed such resilience.”

The good news is the online training providers conference will still take place between 15-19 November 2021. Tutors will hear from industry experts and the programme will be packed with content around Qualification 22, remote invigilation, AQ2016 and more.
