CIMA has launched a new Practical Experience Requirements (PER) process for membership.
Following consultation with students, members and employers, CIMA ran a pilot in 2021 with over 500 students to trail the updated process. CIMA says: “It was a responding success.”
The new PER format is now available for those who want to verify their work-based experience. For a short period, students who have been working on the old system can submit these, but gradually the old processes will be phased out. That means later this year only the new 2022 PER application process will be available.
CIMA will close the existing (paper based) process on 31 May 2022. Face-to-face sessions will end on 31 May 2022. An updated (online) application process will continue until Q3 2022.
Initially the new PER application process will be available via an email route using a Word Template. A fully online solution will be launched in Q3.
