CIMA signs new MoU with Indian College

AICPA and CIMA have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with St Joseph’s College of Commerce, to help strengthen finance and accounting career pathways in India.

Under the MoU the parties will develop platforms for ongoing student engagement and industry interaction – giving students visibility into career opportunities in management accounting.

The agreement also creates a pathway for high-potential students to pursue the Chartered Global Management Accountants (CGMA) qualification, alongside their undergraduate education.

CIMA’s Andrew Harding said: “As the finance profession continues to evolve, it is increasingly important that students are equipped not only with strong academic foundations, but also with the professional and strategic capabilities employers seek. By engaging students early and helping them understand the value of the world leading CGMA Professional Qualification alongside their university education, we can support stronger career outcomes while contributing to a more sustainable and future-ready talent pipeline for the profession and employers.”
