The latest ICAEW March results are out, with both the old and new syllabuses running side by side.
Some 1,961 students sat the first ever Fundamental Case Study, and the pass rate was an impressive 91.5%. Even more remarkable was the pass rate for the new Assurance, Risk and Reporting paper, where 94.1% passed.
The Business and Digital Strategy was another popular paper with 796 sitters. The pass rate for this paper was 90.2%. The lowest pass rate of the new papers was Tax Compliance Planning where 77.8% came home with a pass.
Those sitting the papers from the old syllabus did not fare so well! The Financial Management March paper pass rate was just 56,3%, and 62.3% of those sitting Tax Compliance paper were awarded a pass.
