The big story from November case study results is the massive jump in the Operational case study.
In May 2019, it had slumped to 46%, and tutors were angry!
For November it was hovering just under 70%, at 68%. Both the management and strategic pass rates also held steady.
It all means two-thirds of sitters are now passing the CIMA case study.
February sees the introduction of the new CIMA case study exams.
Students have also been given the chance to resit the old case study, using the November 2019 pre-seen material.
CIMA’s Examination VP Steve Flatman also told PQ Magazine that CIMA is on track to release OT scores this spring, ahead of the July date.
Currently PQs just get a pass or fail.
